Do we have exclusive use of Bramleys?
Yes. You will have exclusive use of the Bramleys venue, grounds (approximately 2 acres), and staff. There is no outside traffic or public access on the day.
How many guests can the Pavilion accommodate?
The Pavilion comfortably seats 80–100 guests and is fire-rated for up to 150 people.
How many guests can the outdoor ceremony area accommodate?
The courtyard is over 340 m² and can accommodate over 100 guests, plus a musician, with flexible layout options.
Is there a wet-weather ceremony option?
Yes. The Carriage House is available as an alternative ceremony space.
Can we use both the Carriage House and the courtyard?
Yes. These spaces work beautifully together and offer shade and shelter.
How far is Bramleys from Christchurch Airport?
Approximately 15–25 minutes, depending on time of day.
How far is Bramleys from Christchurch Central?
Approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on time of day.
Does Bramleys offer on-site accommodation?
Yes. We offer one 64 m² studio unit, typically used by the bride and groom.
Is nearby accommodation available?
Yes. Motels and accommodation are available in Rangiora, Woodend, and Kaiapoi, all within 10 km of Bramleys.
Can we camp on site?
No.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, by prior arrangement.
What time does the venue close?
The venue closes at 11:30 pm. All guests must be off site by this time.
Can we bring our own decorations?
Yes, provided no confetti is used.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes.
Can we choose our own caterer?
Yes, you are welcome to select your own caterer.
Do you offer catering services?
Yes, catering options are available.
Do you offer a wedding planner or coordination service?
Yes. We have an experienced wedding planner who can manage the entire event for you.
Are there photo opportunities on site?
Yes. The property offers a variety of beautiful photo locations. We recommend visiting the venue to explore them.
Is parking available on site?
Yes. All parking is on site with all-weather surfaces. Walking distances range from approximately 30–80 metres.
Can buses access the venue?
Yes. We have ample parking and easy access for buses.
Is helicopter access available?
No.
